Hi, I’m Rick Hewitt, the founder of the Tax Firm Exchange (Tax Firm X).

Why did I create the Tax Firm Exchange?

After spending years in the accounting industry, I noticed a recurring trend of firm owners who were struggling to find qualified buyers for their firm. Their deals would drag on, costing valuable time and often thousands in legal fees.  Some ended up with nothing to show for it.

I realized that much of this waste could have been avoided with proper deal management.  Experienced brokers who understood both the accounting industry, and the current valuation market for firms, could prevent these deals from dragging on with unqualified buyers.

 

Prior to starting my own accounting firm, I sold to and negotiated contracts with business of all sizes, individual owners all the up to the Fortune 100. My prior training in deal management, combined with my current knowledge of the accounting firm market, can give you a unique advantage when it comes time to maximize the value of your firm.
